The COBE Zodi model contains a diffuse cloud, a circumsolar ring, an Earth-trailing feature, and three so-called bands. These are shown below as they appear for the HFI 857-1 detector, for survey 1, survey 2, and the difference between the maps for the two surveys (survey one is subtracted from survey 2).
